STEM Starter Academy

STEM Students holding their certificates

BHCC is pleased to announce the continuation of the STEM Starter Academy. This program offers STEM* majors the opportunity to complete two semesters of math this summer! These math classes are offered FREE of charge!

As part of the STEM Starter Academy, students will get weekly check-ins with the STEM Coordinator, and be given the opportunity to socialize with their peers through chats and video calls. They will get personal advising for the fall, get invited to take part in virtual career events, hear about STEM resources, and then be part of all of these programs on the BHCC campus in the fall.

Summer 2021 Schedule

Classes during the summer of 2021 will be offered remotely. Students without access to computers at home will be able to pick up laptops from BHCC to use in order to complete these classes. All students who successfully complete the classes with a grade of C or higher will receive a $500 scholarship towards a math, science, or computer science class for the Fall 2021 semester!
